The Beverly Hills Hotel
This is a luxury hotel at its finest! Enjoy a romantic poolside massage together, Or even just lay on the pool deck. My husband and I booked a high tea at the Sugar Room at the Beverly Hills for our anniversary. It is a delectable experience, with gorgeous scenic views of the ocean. They offer all the toppings! There is even a gym if you are so inclined. The local attraction in Umhlanga not to miss is definitely the Whalebone Pier.
Tamboti Tented Camp
If camping is more your style, the Tamboti Tented Camp at the Kruger National Park offers you guided bush walks and game drives. Spot the Tamboti wildlife which includes, Baboons, Jackal and Wildebeest. Or do some bird watching from the camp’s bird hide? Book into the spa surrounded by nature and stillness. This is a place to get away from it all and be with nature, leaving that cell phone off.
Romantic Galagos Lodge
Situated in Hartbeespoort Dam, Galagos Lodge offers something a little different. Set against the Magaliesberg mountain range and each room overlooks the Hartbeespoort Dam. Sundowners can be enjoyed on the deck. Enjoys treatments from the Frangipani Pamper Spa. Two of the suites have their own fireplace adding to that romantic feel.
Camps Bay Retreat
Situated in Cape Town with the Twelve Apostle mountains as a backdrop and a view of the ocean. Camps Bay Retreat is a hidden gem and haven. It is a place good for the mind, body and soul. Visit the Von Kamptz Restaurant for a luxurious dinner for two. Enjoy a deep tissue massage or just sit quietly in beautiful natural surroundings and reflect on life.
Wild Coast Sun
If you are looking for a total escape, Wild coast Sun has all the amenities and activities. There are a variety of tastes and flavours offered at the Wild Coast Sun’s restaurants and bars. Book into the Mangwanani Spa for a couples massage. If you are more of an adventure-type couple, Segway gliding tours offer a unique tour experience. Or head to the Riverside Aqua Sports and beach bar which offers water activities as well as refreshments and a bite to eat. If you having a fight, as all couples are bound to do when spending so much time together send him to the golf course while you go read your book at the scenic pool area
These are my top 5 picks. I have been to the Beverly Hills Hotel which is why I place it first! I have just shared with you the other places on my bucket list I would love to visit. They all appeal to me in a different ways. South Africa has so much to offer. We do live in a beautiful Country!
