Unfold Durban attended the launch of the MSC Splendida. We sent Ash, Reinhard, Mel and Brent along to experience it for themselves. They became immersed in the opulence and returned with reports of their experiences.

The new Nelson Mandela terminal was officially opened by Cyril Ramaphosa the day before the launch of the MSC Splendida, setting the stage for a voyage like no other!
Indulgence on a plate
Special invited guests started arriving and the embarking was easy and staff friendly. Guests were met with a culinary journey and a feast for the senses, with a variety of themed bars and restaurants. Food is Buffet style in the self-service dining areas. in some of the restaurants, there is a set menu and a dress code adding a touch of elegance to the dining experience.
The Deluxe Cabin with a balcony is luxurious and offers a comfortable, clean and spacious retreat. However, the allure of the ship extends beyond the cabins. As guests are engrossed in sunbathing, dining and listening to the live shows, among other activities!
A myriad of entertainment and dazzling nightlife.
There is no end to the recreation opportunities onboard. With the vibrant shows in The Strand Theatre, gambling in the Royal Palm Casino or dancing the night away in the Club 33 Disco.
Sunbathe on a lounge chair sipping cocktails on one of the four at one of the four swimming pools. The ship also features a squash court and gymnasium.
Those wanting a more serene experience can treat themselves to a romantic couples massage at the MSC Aurea Spa. There is something for everyone!
Had a wonderful romantic time with the hubby but there is so much that the kids would enjoy, we will definitely want to go back with the whole #martinfamily. It will be a fun family adventure and would love the kids to experience it.
