Wow, What’s on Durban?! What a week it has been! Well done Durban and all the cleanup teams. It is rather surreal driving around Durban. It’s as if it never even happened. Although, we know that it did by the severe hit to our local businesses and the economy. I’m so proud of us Durbanites!!! They have tried to divide us and make it about race but it was about criminal activity and survival against a very eminent threat! We were united against these attacks! All races, ages, cultures and religions stood together!
Shongweni Market
What’s on Durban this week? We are super excited the SHONGWENI MARKET is opening up again this Saturday! Tanner Wareham and TK on Sax will be there for some beautiful local Durban musical entertainment! We all need a bit of serenading and festive vibes!
All our usual favourite vendors will be there! Please go support them. They have been hard hit by the shutdown. Grab a hot coffee to keep you warm, browse the stalls and enjoy a little bit of the outdoors! Get your Goongalicious Cake slices or sausages from Tino’s. There is so much food to choose from.
For those questioning if they are allowed to be open. Yes! It is adjusted to level 4. Shongweni is not classified as a market because it is a fixed structure and is more in line with rules applicable to a shopping mall although safer.
