Endless Horizons Boutique Hotel

5-star Luxury at Endless Horizons Boutique Hotel

Endless Horizon’s Boutique Hotel invited us for a night stay. My hubby and I had been there before for an Epic Whisky Journey Event. We loved the place, so of course, we jumped at the chance to return.

5-star service

We were met with welcome drinks on arrival and Wildekrans champagne on ice as we entered our room. The room itself is gorgeous! Crisp, clean white linen and a breathtaking view of the ocean. Opening the cupboards to unpack, we found our luxurious robes and slippers. I wanted to get in them right then and there! But we wanted to see a bit of Umhlanga first.

Surroundings

We decided to head to the Whalebone pier for that iconic tourist shot. It was such a windy day, so we didn’t last too long on the beach and went into the village and had a drink. We also stopped in a few of the local shops. The Endless Horizon’s Boutique Hotel is so perfectly central for guests to do things in Umhlanga or even if they want to visit Ushaka and hop on a Gondola ride. There is an endless list of things to do around the area.

Food

We had the best 5 stars 3-course meal! Now my hubby is in the food industry himself and very difficult to please when going out to dinner, but even he was impressed. Everything was cooked to perfection by Chef Junior whom we had to meet.

We were given a bottle of Wildekrans Merlot with our meal. For Starters Hubby had the salmon salad and I opted for the tomato seafood soup. So delicious and filling, I had to share some of mine with Hubby so I could get through dinner too. Then Dinner, he ordered the Chargrilled lamb chops. I ordered the Dijon mustard, herb-crusted Beef Fillet on a bed of cauliflower puree, baby vegetables and wild mushroom. For Desert Hubby ordered the Lime Pannacotta and I had the brownie and homemade ice cream. Food heaven!!!

So whether you are travelling for business or leisure, Endless Horizons Boutique Hotel is a great choice! Every moment from arrival to the time we left, we were cared for and pampered! The restaurant is open to the public. You do need to call and book ahead.
